strong outside vs strong inside

In the previous blog, http://hhftn.blogspot.ca/2016/02/was-diana-murdered-who-does-charles.html, I mentioned Carmela is strong on the outside and weak inside, because front line characters represent your surface and basal characters represents your deeper level. Carmela has strengthening characters  (Strength and Shield) in the front line and weakening characters (Talent, Money and Authority) in the basal line. Let me show you two extreme examples.

Friedrich Nietzsche was strong inside. Under normal circumstances, Slaughter overcomes Comrade, but Nietzsche’s Comrade was too much stronger than Slaughter. His two Slaughters were floating and three Comrades took all the roots including the commander position. So he could feel discipline, but his ego was too strong and overturned the authority upon him. That is why he came up with theories such as: Ubermensch is not bound by good and evil, he follows only his will; morality was something developed by weak people in order to defend themselves from the strong, etc.

Valeria Lukyanova’s first line characters are all Strength, and her basal line characters are all weakening. So she is strong on the outside and weak inside. It makes sense since she is best known for her resemblance to a Barbie doll. To endure all it takes and transform yourself into a human Barbie, you need to have the stubbornness on the outside as well as the fragility and self-abuse tendency within your heart. Because if you are strong inside out you will be like “I don’t care”; if you are weak inside out, people will stop you from doing this.
