In a Conan
show, a guy said: don’t take advice from people like me who are very lucky. Taylor
Swift telling you to follow your dreams is like a lottery winner telling you, “Liquidize
your assets, buy Powerball tickets, it works!”
Indeed. There
are so many speeches and book and stuffs about how to be successful, most of them
are totally useless.
Like: to be
successful, you need to have your own opinion, but don’t be stubborn. How to do
that? How to distinguish the two?
Or: Be one
step ahead on the trend, don’t be two steps ahead of the trend. How to decide
it is one step or two steps?
It’s just like “follow your dream”, it works for somebody; it doesn’t work for somebody else. What should you do? The only person from whom you can get real valuable advice is me.
