It’s amazing that people in the 16th century left such a detailed birth record, and the life code of Ivan the Terrible fits his life perfectly. He had nothing else but the battle of Metal and Wood. Like I mentioned here, Wood represents benevolence. Wood being crushed makes people uncommonly cruel. For example:

All of them had self code 2 which is Wood sitting on strong (10) which is Metal; all of them had not enough power to control Metal; and all of them were cruel.

Ivan the Terrible also had weak Wood and strong Metal, so he was known for being cruel. However, he couldn’t yield to Metal for Wood was rooted. So the priority was to repress Metal with Fire. The best fortune he had was 3(11), because it was Fire on Fire tomb, and (11) merged (3) to Fire, provided the maximum pressure on Metal. He died in 1584, that was a 1(9) year of the 7(3) fortune. You can see the crush between Metal and Wood reached to the peak, caused his death. Wood represents brain, he must have a stroke.
