Vasily Zaytsev was a Russian sniper of WW2, his heroic deed was adapted to several movies such as Enemy at the Gate (2001).

In the previous blog, I mentioned Gourmet-Slaughter structure is the sign of military general because it is a sign of defeating enemy. Slaughter represents enemy; Gourmet is the character that overcomes Slaughter. Slaughter vs. Strength implies head on collisions; Gourmet vs. Slaughter implies defeating enemy with skills and tactics.

Not everyone with Gourmet-Slaughter structure can be military general. But these people have one thing in common: they are good at watching details, so these people are also good at precision technology when there's no war. That is why Vasily Zaytsev could be so good with sniping. 1942 was a (7) year in the (1) fortune. The crush between (1) and (7) indicates the great conflicts. The fortune (1) is Strength that represents comrades; the Fire (7) represents the opponents. Fortune is stronger than year, so Vasily Zaytsev’s army won the victory.

Overall speaking, Vasily Zaytsev was weak, therefore he had Metal-Water as favor, Wood-Fire as foe. (2)(1)(12) are the three steps of Water; (11)(10)(9) are the three steps of Metal. He died 1991 because he left the Metal-Water semicircle. 1991 was the (8) year in the (8) fortune. (8) is not only a Fire fortune, it also merged (4) to Wood that served as the number one foe (the strongest element in his life code was Wood).
